CISGENDER WOMEN SHOULD WEAR DOLLKINIS

|Ambre DESARD

Many cisgender women asked if there was going to be a "cis" dedicated version of the Dollkini, because they really liked the design.

Let me be clear, no there won't be a cis version.

The Dollkini si designed for trans women to be perceived as cis women, or at least to hide their intimacy as much as possible. Then, it is easy to understand that cis women would be perceived as such : cisgender.

It is just fabric, made in a certain way but nothing that would make it uncomfortable to anyone. If you like it, just wear it.

At the same time, cis people buying the Dollkini can make an actual difference for Brillante. In fact, if you check the e-shop page of the Dollkini, you will notice we suggest different prices for cis and trans people.

Statistically, trans people are more likely to face economical difficulties than cis people, on top of having to pay for their transition. That's why I chose to offer a lower price to my sisters, on which I make very little profit, as a way to give back to the community that gave me so much.

By buying our Dollkini at preferred cisgender price, you help sustaining our economical balance allowing us to make our garments as affordable as possible for trans people.

And, in the end, it's time to wonder : Trans people are adaptating themselves to cis clothings norms all the time, but what if we switched roles?
